On June 20, at the 9th China-South Asia Expo held in Kunming, Yunnan, Ms. K.D.N. Kodikara, Minister (Commercial) of the Sri Lankan Embassy hosted a live streaming session, promoting her country Sri Lanka, known as the “Pearl of the Indian Ocean,” to her followers. Many young people of Generation Z also used their smartphones or cameras to share their Expo experience from their perspective. Live streaming and short videos are injecting vitality into the Expo’s online economy.
